Taap Mun Miscellaneous Pictures (Part 1) #1 to #21 There are a total of 54 pictures remaining from Taap Mun. With the exception of a few, all are pictures of the landscape, the villages, the harbour, and the fishing boats. As these pictures were taken at different times, I decided to give them a separate file name, being TMO (for Taap Mun Others), just for the convenience of filing and identification.. The first few pictures may have been taken during our exploratory visit, but the remainder were taken during the work camp period. Judging from the roof line, #1 may have been taken from the backside of the temple. Take a look at the sign above the doorway in #4. Was that building the original school? I don't even remember taking that picture, let alone where it was taken. But it seems to me that that was the original school which was used for storage by then. Further, the school building that we stayed in was quite new at that time. So it is conceivable that there was an older school building in the village. #14 - I don;t have any recollection of that church. But there it was. #19 - take a look at the sign on the building---that was taken at Go Lau Wan. But I don't remember that building at all. It likely was located near the ice making plant. By this picture, I gather that #18 showed the boat that took us from Taap Mun to Go Lau Wan. #21 - those were Kan Shun-Fat and AuYeung Keung of Chung Chi College.
